The Operating Review section of this report (pp. 14-33) gives statistics about rates of infections including HIV, MRSA and tuberculosis. (Some of the statistics are for England only, other statistics are for the UK.) It also outlines the HPA’s role in reducing the impact of diseases and environmental risks such as radiation.
